U.S. NAVY Antigua, BWI & Eleuthera, Bahamas. Radioman supporting down-range missile tracking, the space program, and a then secret underwater tracking system pinpointing surface and sub-surface vessels. We were also able to listen to whale migrations.
Supermarkets Owned and operated six Foodtown supermarkets in New Jersey. In the 1980s and 1990s, Foodtown was a major player on Long Island and in New Jersey, with its biggest cooperative members, Melmarkets Inc. and Mayfair Supermarkets Inc. operating 17 stores on Long Island and 28 stores in New Jersey, respectively. At the height of its success in 1994, Foodtown's Twin County Grocers, the chief supplier headed by Martin Vitale, who also served as CEO of the cooperative, supplied 165 Foodtown stores and had wholesale revenue of over $1 billion.
Construction Both residential and commercial. High end projects in Rumson, New Jersey. Designed and built this elegant house in Manasquan, New Jersey. (see below)
Printing Worked for a printing company and learned a great deal about Heidelberg presses and computer graphics software. The core business of Heidelberg is developing and selling sheetfed printing presses. Heidelberg played a key role in making offset printing the prevailing technology today, and leads the print media industry in this segment.
Healthcare A truly great experience working in the corporate offices of Genesis Healthcare in Kennett Square, PA. as a business manager. Genesis is one of the nation's largest skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapy providers. They employ nearly 50,000 people, each one dedicated to the delivery of high-quality, personalized health care to all the patients and residents in our Centers. Our more than 200 Skilled Nursing Centers and Assisted/Senior Living Communities are located in 13 eastern states, while our Genesis Rehab Services division provides therapy to over 1,100 health care providers in 35 states and the District of Columbia.
Publishing Thrilled to be with N2 Publishing now. Created in 2004 in Wilmington, NC, the founding principals of N2 Publishing wanted to build something great. The idea was simple; partner with the residents of the very best neighborhoods in America to produce their monthly magazine.
